Internet Marketers looking for consulting work can surely find it helping out small businesses with their social media marketing plan. My father owns a local mini storage business. Obviously people are constantly talking on Facebook about finding a place to store their stuff while they move, boasting about their upcoming move, or just looking for a place to store their boat during the winter months. A small business such as my Dad’s could easily benefit from an effective social media marketing plan. I’ve personally tried to work with him and his staff but they’ve still yet to gain any traction. Why? They simply don’t know where to begin.
Time-and-time again I’ve seen small businesses understand the fact that they need to move more towards social media as they understand the future advertising opportunities but they don’t even know where to get the first friend or what to post when. I personally thought it was just me that realized this but apparently not.
