If you’re a regular Grinder here, you already know we run some Mobile CPA campaigns over at Revived Media. We’ve also recently crossed the 800+ (active) publisher mark over there (hoorah!).
One of the biggest changes (for the better) was us cutting out CPA Campaigns in the US. Between competition on traffic sources, newb affiliates driving up CPC’s on the main ad networks, and headaches of dealing with donkey US Affiliates and Advertisers, it simply isn’t worth it. While we still have campaigns running in the US on web, mobile offers in the US, fuck that.
If you haven’t heard yet, the FCC (Currently Closed) has released the new revisions to the TCPA act. Basically, if you are sending marketing messages to mobile devices (no matter what kind they are), you must have written consent.
How do this go under the rug? Well, to be straight up – it didn’t. We’ve been watching it for a long time and the decision to stop working in the US, was sealed with this death-dagger. I’ve seen too many affiliates, advertisers and networks already get the chopping block over the last two years. The risk just isn’t worth it, to us.
As for the future of Mobile Performance Marketing, it’s looking BRIGHT! Not just for us, but for other affiliates as well. As you can see below, for the mobile affiliates who actually are reading and taking action on what we say, they are cleaning up outside the US:
Note: Before an affiliate manager from another network or some other thoughtful person blurts out – “Why would you reveal the offers that are working,” I really have just 3 short things to say: 1. How my ass taste? 2. Showing you a week’s worth of traffic on some offers don’t rattle me a bit 3. 99% of the people who see this will lack at least one of 3 things: intelligence, cash-flow or resources to even know where to begin. That’s why.
This is for the 1% who will. Here’s a shot of Monday inspiration for all those affiliates who get wet over numbers. Just remember, it don’t mean shit, until their YOUR numbers.
