Google recently did a complete overhaul of their mobile ads website making it more appealing for small businesses and corporations looking to reach the millions of people on smart phones/tablets. The new website now includes important things such as marketing goals, ad formats, success stories, and mobile insights. In addition they’ve also added:
- detailed information on Google’s search and display ad formats
- research reports and useful tools to build your understanding of the mobile audience
- best practices for performance marketing and brand awareness
- new success stories from advertisers who have grown their business with Google mobile ads.
I find it interesting that they state on their insights page, that according to their internal data, in 2013 more people will be using their mobile device to access the Internet than their PC.
