Boost Your Pinterest Marketing Efforts and Conversions with Pinerly

Late, late one night as I was traveling down the corridors of the deepest, darkest parts of the interwebs, I somehow crossed paths with Pinerly.com. What is Pinerly you ask? Glad you asked, and I shall tell you in this riveting post filled with adventure and mystery. Im laying it on pretty thick, aren’t I? You know you love it. That’s why you read my posts. Well, it’s either because you love my posts or you get a chuckle out of my approach. Either way – grab your popcorn because I’m about to hit you with some knowledge and perhaps even some humor along the way. You know how I roll.

As I stated above, I found a site called Pinerly.com. Not knowing what it was, I decided to peer inside its rather cheerful entrance. Filled with familiar hues of pink and creme’, I felt like I had been there before. Pinerly aims to be “the marketing” dashboard for all of you sharp minded marketers out there.

Ok, but how is that different from Pinterest? Isn’t this just pinning using the Pinterest API? Well, yes and no. Yes, the API allows Pinerly to do the pinning for you but again we are talking about Pinerly as a marketing tool and it is just that. Let’s get down to the details.

Pinerly is a pinning management dashboard that allows you to establish pinning campaigns and schedule pins to keep a constant flow of traffic moving to your website(s). A campaign consists of you finding an image on your website or the product, lead-form, etc that you are promoting and then launching that “pin” to your pinboard on Pinterest. I took some time to snag some screenshots of the dashboard and its features, since the site is invite only. Hopefully, by being able to see the dashboard, which is sexy in its design and functionality, you will be able to see the value in this service.

YOU GOTTA REFER FRIENDS, IF YOU WANT IN!
Membership is free, but requires that you get on a waiting list by referring 5 – 10 friends through your specific link.

MONITOR THE EFFECTIVENESS OF YOUR PINS WITH THE DASHBOARD PINALYTICS FEATURE
After launching some campaigns (selecting images to pin and establishing their destination url), you will be able to monitor the engagement with your pins with the “pinalytics” dashboard. This will give you some clue as to what type of imagery is resonating with your target audience. When I first got my Pinerly account, I did not have a seasoned account with alot of friends, so I was in the testing phase of the dashboard. However, you can see below that I started two campaigns, which were a snap to launch. Now, that I am growing my followers on Pinterest, I will be able to launch more effective campaigns! This slide below is to demonstrate how the dashboard works. It is not intended to be a case study….yet >:)

USE PINERLY TO FIND TARGETED PINNERS TO FOLLOW
It also suggests Pinterest users to follow that are prominent within the different verticals that exist on Pinterest – cooking, decor, photography, art, etc. This is a great feature, if you are working offers within a certain vertical. Why? Because, you can laser target people to follow, that will hopefully follow you back.

Stay tuned to more upcoming posts on Pinterest and Pinerly, as I continue to season my account and work to drive pinners into my sites. More details coming very soon! Get over to Pinerly and grab your place in the waiting line. You will be glad that you did.
